Elizabeth Mollon

Design Intern
BID in process, BA

Liz joined Derek Nicholson Inc. in 2017. She is currently a 3rd year student at the Ryerson School of Interior Design. Native to Toronto, Liz lived in Seoul, South Korea for 10 years and later attended an international boarding school in Canada where she had the fortunate opportunity to meet people from all over the world. What she learned from these experiences is pivotal to her working and design process today. Liz is an active student who participates in design competitions, including Ryerson’s Year End Show where her and her team were chosen to present their Materiality Installation, Transpose. Her projects have also been featured in Toronto’s RAD Magazine and Kaleidoscope.

With a special appreciation for cultural diversity, Liz is passionate about the art of food and music – she believes the two connect people regardless of background. In her spare time, Liz often seeks new and exciting cuisine experiences, whether it is at home or in the neighborhood, and plays tunes on her piano.
